San Vicente Homeowners Board Meeting Minutes
December 11, 2014

Guests: Tony and Brenda Spinella, Patty Byrum, Ellen Duke, Colin and Angela Stephens, Betty Ortega and Mollie Mann.
Bob Mann, president, called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. The Board Association
Minutes of November 13, 2014 were read and approved with one correction. The Meet and Confer with Management is NOT January 8 but December 15th.
Treasurer’s Report: Jack Jackson reported as of the end of October, the checking account balance is $2400.62. In addition, legal defense fund balance is $19,374.06. Jack also reported that a stop payment had been put on a check for membership to the Homeowner’s Association which cost the HOA $9.00 which was deducted from the HOA bank account. Jack wishes to see if the $9.00 can be recovered. Paid membership is now back at 172. On a different note, Jack Jackson will resign from the position of Treasurer. The Board thanks him for the six years he has dedicated to the HOA as Treasurer.
DPG Report: None.
Social Committee Report: Betty Ortega reported that the Christmas Dinner/ Social Event was sold out days before the deadline. The Silver Follies were a success and the Committee received many compliments on the catered dinner. There was a request for the Social Committee to revisit allowing “guests” to sign up before residents for our events.
There will be a 1st ever Happy Hour event put on by the Committee on Thursday, January 22nd from 4:30 to 6:00. Attendees are asked to bring an hors d’oeuvre for 8-12 persons for this event. There is no charge for this get together and drinks will be provided. Signup sheet will be in the Club House in January.
Actions taken by the Board since June 12th meeting:
Old Business:
Possibility of a Dumpster be made available for large items to be discarded. The Board is still hopeful this can be done sometime in the spring. More to come on this.
Announcements/New Business:
Annual HOA –Election of Officers January 15, 2015:
This meeting is the annual $5.00 Chili Dinner, salad, dessert and a drink. Social Hour starts at 5:00 with dinner served at 6:00. Details are in the San Vicente Voice.
This is the scheduled monthly meeting but Officers will be elected and persons interested in running for the Board are encouraged to contact any Board member with your information.
Next Board meeting will be January 8th, 2015 at 7 P.M. in the Clubhouse. This meeting will address HOA membership especially new arrivals to our Park. The meeting was adjourned at 8:00.
