Bob Mann, president, called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. The Board Association Minutes of June 11th, 2015 were read with one correction that Online Committee drafted Mission statement. Minutes approved.

Treasurer’s Report: It was reported as of June 15th, the checking account balance is $2,888.02. Income was $55 for HOA dues, Expenses $18 and Bank Fee of $2.50. In addition, legal defense fund balance is $19,396.79. Paid membership for 2015 is now 155.

DPG Report: Steve Roth recapped May meeting of “evacuation prep, grab and go.” The grab and go sheet is in the office and on our website. Next meeting will be in August. This group will help in emergencies in our park until Rescue arrives. They are in need of more resident volunteers who can use a radio within our park for reporting on your immediate neighbors who might need for help.

Social Committee Report: Don’t forget July’s Happy Hour on Thursday, 23rd. The Social Committee’s next event will be on July 25th Midsummer Picnic with Pulled Pork sandwiches etc. $8/Residents $10/Guests

Online Committee Report: svmha.com Ellen reported that this website has all of SVMHP recent documents, minutes of our meetings, calendar, classified section and much more. Please take a look for yourself.

Old Business:

Generator part replaced? Board will find out. Remember it is tested once a week. The generator is for pumping to keep water pressure up to our houses and the mains during outages.

The Quarterly meeting was a big success with over 40 HOA members enjoying their FREE pizza, bread sticks, Caesar salad, Beer, Wine, Soda and Ice Cream for dessert. Let see an even bigger turn out next time!

Announcement/New Business:

GSMOL: Ellen volunteered to be our representative and the Board approved wholeheartedly. Don Webb encouraged HOA members to join GSMOL. You can email Ellen at EBDuke.com for membership forms. GSMOL/Scampr are our political watchdogs for all Mobile Home Owners. They stay on top of forced closures and rule changes.

A question was raised about the ongoing discussions between the Sisters and our current management concerning the Lease Renewal. A member wanted to know if our HOA was involved in these discussions? The Board has very good rapport with the management but it is NOT part of the discussions. Negotiations are ongoing right now and the Board is hopeful that our current management team of Rice and Parker remains.

HOA Dues for 2015: Dues for 2015 are due. $40 if you are a first time member or $15 to renew your membership. Just drop at the Clubhouse in the HOA box. Please encourage your neighbors to join and support your HOA. (Currently 155 members have already paid their dues.)

Next Board meeting will be August 13, 2015 at 7 P.M. in the Clubhouse. The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
